This is a great campground with a variety of spots, a beach, and amenities. However, It would seem to me that as busy as Holter Campgrounds are all the time, that they would be overdue to expand the camping available, or start providing the online reservation/status. Driving all the way to Log Gulch to find it booked is maddening! Their hosts are also really stingy about holding campsites, but don't enforce quiet hours very well. But, you don't come to Holter Lake for the quiet serenity necessarily. :)
Great swim area and beach. Very kid friendly
Nice place. Has vault restrooms that are very clean. Water available on site along with trash, no dump station.
Well kept. Wildlife abounds.
